What is Love By Plants? 

Love by plants is not only a personal diary filled with all things vegan but also a collective space to share day to day struggles. It is a community where you can be yourself without the fear of failing.

 

Why Love By Plants? 

There is a huge stigma when it comes to the vegan community. A stigma that is oftentimes actually true. The judgmental side that won’t let anyone in the “club” unless you are fully vegan… and vegetarian? Forget it! But, whether you are vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or even a meat eater; this is a judge free zone. Love by plants is a space where people of all diets can come together to learn more about living a plant based life without the fear of failing. This isn't a space where you need to feel polished and perfect. This is a community where we can get through obstacles together, without the fear of judgement or being scrutinized for breaking.   

 

What makes Love By Plants different? 

As a vegan, viewer and consumer I strongly believe I have been able to spot and navigate through the holes we collectively built in the vegan community. Love by plants is a free outlet where people of all diets can join together to navigate through plant based living, without feeling shamed for it “not being enough.” You will have support even if you decide you eat less animal based products only one day out of the week. Aside from building an inclusive community, you will receive simple recipes that you won’t get bored of. Do you feel like you’ve come across your fair share of raw fruit diets, oatmeal, smoothie bowls and tahini recipes; or maybe even recipes that contain ingredients you’ve never even heard of? If so…you are not alone. Love by plants is here to break those boundaries and to provide a comfortable in-between. The goal is to provide you with free, easy recipes that utilize minimal ingredients to maximize your time and reduce your stress. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing acai bowls and a million different ways to use oatmeal, this won’t be the blog for you— BUT I can promise you alternative recipes that are just as good, if not better.

When you subscribe to Love by plants you will be joining a community that will help you navigate through plant based living; between recipes, tips, tricks, product reviews and day to day struggles. We will unravel the raw truth that many of us deal with on a daily basis, while being vegan. Any lifestyle you choose will come with hidden struggles; this could mean judgment from friends, family or even money and the cost of food. Love by plants will aim to help you navigate through those obstacles.
